The Uttar Pradesh Motor Training School Owner Association (UPMTSOA) has officially announced the launch of a statewide training program for driving instructors, beginning in 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the association as it aims to raise the overall quality of driving education across the state of Uttar Pradesh. The decision comes after months of consultations with government officials, transport authorities, and key stakeholders within the driving training sector.
According to the statement released by UPMTSOA, the training program is designed to ensure that driving instructors are well-equipped with modern teaching techniques, road safety awareness, and updated knowledge of traffic laws. With road accidents still being a major concern in India, the association strongly believes that better-trained instructors will directly contribute to creating more responsible drivers on the road.
The training will be carried out in multiple phases across different districts of Uttar Pradesh. Each phase will include workshops, practical sessions, and theory classes, focusing on important topics such as defensive driving, use of modern simulators, first-aid training, and the latest amendments in traffic regulations. UPMTSOA has confirmed that all registered motor training schools will be encouraged to send their instructors to participate in this initiative.
